Some words related with my career.

Last class, my English teacher explained me how to classify words, evaluating their characteristics to do it, and I learned to interpret all information that a dictionary gives me about the kind of word that I searched.

Here are some words, which I didn't know their meaning or that I wanted to know better:

• Semiconductor [sèmmee kən dúktər, sèmmī kən dúktər]

noun.

Partially conductive solid: a solid material that has electrical conductivity between that of a conductor and an insulator.

• Transistor [tran zístər]

noun.

• Teleconferencing [tèllə kónfərənssing, tèllə kónfrənssing]

noun.

Videoconferencing using telephone lines: a system of videoconferencing that uses a restricted band of frequencies and allows participants to be connected by telephone lines.

	Without wires: lacking wires.
	Using radio signals: using radio signals rather than wires.
